September exercise challenge

In the interim period whilst I regain a bit of fitness I have lost.
I'm going to do two sessions of 30 mins daily.
Dropping distance covered to around 35 km per dual session rather than 42+ km daily.
Should still be around 500 km at the end of the month.

I do two sessions most days @ 30 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.
Weight down to 209 lbs (14.93 st) from 266 lbs (19 st) next goal is 200 lb (14.28 st)

How do you like your exercise bike? I used to cycle everywhere and was very slim and fit. I haven't done much for years apart from the occasional ride for two or three miles. I have decided to get an electric bike soon and also an exercise bike to use on days when I can't get out and about. Do you find that yours helps you to lose weight?

I have lost just over 4 Stone (56 lb) in a year.
So it has helped along with watching my diet more carefully.
I think most weight loss is achieved by willpower and discipline.

The Exercise Bike helps but it depends on how bored your likely to become with doing it at home.
I usually watch some Youtube videos whilst using it.
I purchased a DKN AM-E Exercise Bike and it's been a very good investment.
It's just over a year old.
Only issue a set of pedals under warranty without quibble after over 10,000 km in a year on it.

I;m watching one on eBay at the moment. I could easily do some pedalling whilst listing to a good drama on the radio.

I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things again.
Almost seven weeks without proper exercise means a gradual re-introduction.
I've also got to bear in mind that I'm getting used to work again in addition.

I just think it's about making yourself more active and watching watch you eat.
It's just finding something to break the monotony of exercising regularly.
 
My goals for this month:

40 jiggling sessions: 23 done 17 to go
16 exercise sessions: 7 done 9 to go

I'm just trying to get myself active again but finding where I sit fitness wise respectively.
I'm not quite up to what I was before my accident but I'm certainly ahead of where I thought I would be.
I'm probably 4-6 seconds slower per covering a kilometre than before my accident.
I'm also fitter despite my injury now than I was when I began seriously trying to lose weight a year ago.

I'd joined a local hillwalking/rambling club before my accident.
Good excuse to get the camera out.
But that's going on the back burner until next year.
With the terrain I would be tempting fate at the moment and likely putting me back to square one with the injury.

My goals for this month:

40 jiggling sessions: 24 done 16 to go
16 exercise sessions: 8 done 8 to go

A 3km walk, baby is away so just me and the dog so.got ti do proper walking. Then a jiggle when I came back. I'm doing two 15 minute sessions a day at 30, its goes from 1-99 and I can feel.the 30.

I'm delighted to have just won a rather nice exercise bike from eBay. This should help the exercise plan when it's too wet to do much walking.

Getting a bit closer to my fitness levels of before.
Might return to my normal 35 minutes sessions when beginning next months exercise challenge.
Might take another few weeks to move towards around the 205 lbs mark.
