Shake & Bar passed Best Before Date..ok to Eat??

Hi,

I have 2 full boxes of uneaten bars and shake, their best before date was in March.

Are they ok to eat, as i want to start the diet again...

Please advise..

someone on here said that past their sell by date the products are pretty nasty. think there's something on here about it. rancid fat etc.
