Monday 15/12/2014 - Week 1 - Day 2

Breakfast:-

Golden syrup Oats To go porridge Sachet made with 180ml 1% milk - 6pts

Lunch:-

Tesco Healthy living 3 Bean and vegetable soup 1 can - 4pts
1 Slice Warburtons Thick Brown Bread - 3pts
1 Aldi Cowbelle Light Cheese Triangle - 1pt
Sliced Cucumber - 0pts

Dinner:-

Sausage Meatballs (recipe below) - 9pts
Salad - 0pts
140g Birds Eye (about 2/5 of a bag) steam fresh Med Veg Pasta - 4pts

Snacks:-

Treatsize Crunchie - 3pts
Skips - 2pts
20g Dairy Milk - 3pts
25g Sour Cream Pringles - 4pts

Sausage Meatballs recipe serves 2 adults and 1 toddler so the points total for me is 2/5 of the total points.

1/2 yellow pepper - 0
mixed herbs, salt and pepper - 0
6x aldi ashfield suasages (skin removed) - 21

Combine the above in a bowl and then take small amounts and make into balls. I made 17. fry in frying pan using a very small amount of frylight. Removed once browned.

2x tins chopped tomatoes - 0
1tbsp Garlic Puree - 0
1 medium onion diced - 0
Mixed herbs, Salt and Pepper - 0

There will be some oils left in the pan from the sausages, put diced onion in pan and soften add garlic and herbs and chopped tomatoes and simmer for 5mins.

Re- add meatballs to pan and simmer for a further 5-10 mins until cooked through.

Serve with cooked pasta and salad.
