Sheridan's 100 day challenge!

Hope your day has improved. Well done on limiting what you had so well. I hope he makes up for It. Have a good day tomorrow x

Thanks guys.

Made up, obviously carbs making me grumpy haha.
Weighed this morning and up 1.5lbs which I deserve for the cake and ice cream!

But will be gone in no time, back 100% today until Wednesday next week when I go to London for a few days with my best friends.

Hope everyone has a good day. :)

Wish I could do that Sheridan. In the past odd days end up being weeks off. Going to try just having planned days off and see if thats more successful for me x

I'm sure it's just water Sheridan. I love your attitude. Have a great time in London. Are you doing anything particular?

I definitely think it helps Susie. I don't plan to binge on days off but I don't beat myself if I eat something a bit more calorific than I should. It kinda helps diffuse the build up of wanting to eat and reinforcing that none of the food is as good as my head is trying to convince me so therefore helps me dismiss the food thoughts easier.

I definitely say give it a go, it might help, especially since most of us are in for the long haul. :)

Thanks Angel; I'm looking forward to it. Nothing in particular, just going to look in museums and galleries and things. It's just an excuse to spend time together as my friend is a chef and hardly ever has time off and so it's a bit of a mini holiday for her. :)

It sounds fun. We saw "wicked" when I went with girlfriends. Got great tickets at Leicester square ticket booth. Mama Mia is good too. I think I will employ a similar method of planning events off. It worked over Christmas. I think it takes the pressure off as no one can avoid all situations for a whole year. The trick is to keep going like you do.

See, you're such an inspiration! :)

I don't know if anyone can relate, but the more weight I'm losing, the more pain I'm having in my back :(

Not nice, I suppose if it gets too bad I can go to the doctors but then the back is so allusive when it comes to treatment.

I've noticed as well, I'm less likely to cheat if I'm on my own if that makes any sense.
Like I can't eat in secret in that sense and I need it to be justified so if I'm with other people then they validate that it's okay and I should. Strange way of working but it is what it is.

It's good to appreciate that everyone works in different ways and knowing your triggers and thought processes really helps. :)

That's a tiny gain! It'll be off in no time!

Have you always suffered from back pain? I haven't, but my uncle does and it really affects him. He has been to the Drs, but has had little success.xx

Sorry to hear about your back pain. My pain increases the more weight I lose. I thought it would be the other way around. I think your body has to adjust posture because you will be holding yourself differently. Maybe ask for some physio?

I totally understand about keeping in control when alone. My husband is my worst sabotager as you know. It's also hard with friends because they feel uncomfortable eating when im not. So I cave in to make them feel better. I'm so easily led. I'm not doing that anymore though. It's too hard to keep stopping and restarting.

You are such a strong lady you will do what's right for you and that's a wonderful asset to have. X

Aha!

Bought this dress today (Size 14) and it fits nicely!

Very comfortable, shows all my lumps and bumps but I love it. Now just need somewhere to wear it!

My sister's birthday is at the end of the month and she wants to go to a casino, so maybe I might wear it there. Hmm.

Feeling beyond frustrated and angry about this whole diet.

We all feel like that from time to time it takes huge amount of willpower and determination to get through it and you definately have that. You proved it over xmas and have been doing amazing look how far you have come. Keep your chin up x

Thanks heatwave, it's definitely scales related.

Because I'm short, I've order my husband to put the scales high up out of my reach until Tuesday. Which marks the end of my 100 day challenge.

Hope you have a good day.

100 days is insane! You have nailed it well done!

Thanks! I've still got probably another 2 - 3 months to go to shift the last 2 stone but at least I'm over half way there!

Wow Sheridan you look amazing in that dress. Size 14! Get that goal ticked off :D
so is it not weighing that's making you feel frustrated? Hang in there, the feeling will pass. It must feel harder the closer to goal you get, especially when you've been at it a while. 3 stone gone, you must feel like you're walking on air now you're not carrying it.

I hope the afternoon feels better for you. Sending you strength :vibes:

Thanks Angel! And no, it's the everyday weighing. Got a bit stressed out about seeing gain two days in a row - it's one thing expecting gain but don't expect to see it to keep going up.

So I need to not weigh for a few days, I'm trying to wait until Tuesday but have said to hubby as long as I don't do it until Sunday, I shouldn't be disheartened by it. He likes to just do as I ask which can be a bit frustrating on this diet as I need him to say no sometimes! I could ask him to go to Costa for me and he will! Bad for resisting!

But going well today so hopefully I can ground my motivation again. :)

Yes put the scales away for a bit Sheridan. These days do pop up now and then so no point making it harder than it is.

Hope today has continued to be a good one x

Def the right move putting the scales away. Any gain you've seen will be water weight. Remember you would have to have taken in 3500 cals over your daily 2000ish allowance you need to stay alive to put on a pound of fat. You've been on 600 cal plan so no where near, even if you did have a little extra.

I'm a daily weigher for the first two weeks then once a week because it stresses me out too much.
