Shocked - and cant believe it............

I can't believe he died, it doesn't seem real really, his brother Jermaine confirmed it early this morning I think, what a shock!

Hubby was decorating last night and saw it on the news, he didn't know whether to wake me and tell me, but he hung on until this morning.... I thought he was joking as it is so unbelievable...

So sad. He was such a genius but seemed a rather troubled/sad man. At last he's in peace. Thoughts are with his poor children and family.

i know! Heard it on the news this morning! Shocking news!
The jokes are already coming through on my mobile now! :(
ICONIC man of pop!
RIP

He was a true musical legend, and an amazing dancer...he was the one that got me going to dance classes. R.i.p Michael:cry:

I've just had one of those 'jokes' on my mobile too.....needless to say the sender just got a mouthful.....RIP Jacko xxxx

Watching the tributes on the music channels right now, my son has just taken the mick out of me cos I keep filling up. It was exactly the same when Freddie Mercury died, just seems so surreal. He was so much better looking though before he had his nose and skin done xxxx

His body is going through the post mortem process atm.
It is very sad, especially 50 is no age really. My Mum turned 50 last year, so it makes you think...
I just hope the media can do as Jermaine Jackson asked and give them some peace. I always feel sorry for families who have famous relatives.
I went to school with Tina O'Brien (she played Sarah a while ago in Corrie) and when she had her baby, the papers were outside her house for days, it was horrible.
Michael has had a very sad life really. I don't know if he ever did 'abuse' those children, and I doubt anyone will ever really know the truth. But I certainly don't agree with some comments i've seen that say 'at least our kids are safe now' - sick f*cks. Nothing was ever proven. I actually believe he was a child himself and was able to 'socialise' better with the younger generation. People say the way he treated his own children was appauling - yet people seem to shut there eyes to these Mother's and Father's in shopping Centres, who batter there kids up the street for not walking fast enough, or swearing disgustingly at 3 year olds.
Sorry! lol I'm quite opinionated on these things!
Just let the man rest in peace goddamit!

Sorry for the rant!

I agree. Well said.

I feel it's unfair to say he treated his kids terribly as I believe he was trying to protect them from the star studded life he led. He was extremely vulnerable after the childhood he had; his father beat him and verbally abused him which is why I believe he turned to plastic surgery.

Whether or not he abused those children, we'll never know however I believe any parent who settles out of court cannot truly care about their child. Money will not bring back your child's innocence; the fact the parents chose to settle out of court just shows you what type of people they are.

I hope he can rest in peace now, away from all the cruel behaviour of the media.

I couldn't have said it any better.

You only have to look at the rest of his family, who all appear to be very genuine, kind-hearted individuals.

Oh it's good to express opinions isn't it!!!
