Hi!!

I'm Siaana and I've recently re-started slim and save for the millionth time and I've actually stuck to it for more than a day which is a pretty huge achievement for me! It's day 2 on my re-start and so far so good. I have lost almost 2 stones on it last year so I know it works but I just can't bring myself up to doing TFR so I'm doing 3 packs and a meal and milk which seems to be working great for me.

I'm incredibly inspired by my friend Adrian (AdrianR on MiniMins) who has lost almost 4 stones since beginning his slim and save journey in December. Since I have now moved in with him, it makes sense to follow his regime.

My starting weight was 12 stones exactly and dress size 14/16 (11th February 2013)

I'm aiming to reach the 8 stone mark and get to a size 10

My height is 5ft 4 and I'm in my 30s

Day 3 today and feeling so much better about this diet. I had a fab meal of grilled chicken with swede chips last night. Omg, swede chips are amazing and only about 40 cals for a portion - totally guilt free as swede is an allowed veg on slim and save. I'm having it again tonight so will take a pic of the meal if I remember.

Last year I did a total TFR but can't bring myself up to do that again. I've got into the mindset finally and I've already seen a loss and that makes me happy! ?

The swede chips are super scrummy!!!

Basically, you peel and chop the swede into chip shapes (this is really really hard and my knife gets stuck in the middle so try buying swede that's already been cut if you can) and boil them until they are about 80% done and then drain and set aside. Spray 1 cal oil spray on a baking dish lined with foil and arrange chips onto it and bake for about 20-30 mins on high until they've browned (turn chips over halfway through cooking). They really are so good.

Also, my friend who's lost a lot on slim and save has had Slim Pasta a few times which is amazing with a homemade tomato and veg sauce. It's verrrrrrrrrrry low in calories with a homemade basic tomato and veg sauce and the pasta itself is around 7 calories and 0g in carbs. You can buy it at Holland and Barrett. It's not exactly like pasta but I can imagine once I've been on slim and save a few weeks I'll think its gourmet!!!

Hiya! Hope ur your hunger has passed. It's so hard until the ketosis fairy arrives. Hopefully she'll get to you soon xxxxx
 
Dinners been lovely. I've had grilled chicken and veg and my yummy swede chips. I forgot to take a pic so will set a reminder for next time. Day 3 over. I don't feel any ketosis symptoms yet but will check on Friday xx

Hi everyone. I'm terrible at keeping my diary. Oops!!! However, my diets going well so far. I have friends joining me for lunch so I'm making a roast chicken with swede chips while they have normal ones. It's actually quite easy incorporating food unlike last time when I only did packs.

I'm looking forward to weigh in on Monday although I do weigh every other day and have seen a loss.

Hope everyone's doing ok? Will catch up this weekend on diaries xx
