Side dish ideas?

    What are some of your favourite side dishes to complete your food optimising meals?

    One of mine is potato rosti with garlic and chilli...

    You will need....

    2 potatoes grated
    1 onion finely chopped or grated
    red chilli
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    mixed herbs

    first put your grated potato into a clean tea towel and squeeze all the excess moisture out.

    mix potato with egg, onion, as much finely chopped garlic and chilli as you desire (personal taste, I used half a red chilli and two cloves of garlic) and season.

    shape mix into 6 balls and flatten, spray a pan with fry light and seal each patty on both sides, transfer to a fry light coated baking tray, spray each patty with fry light and bake at 200 for ten mins on each side or until golden.

    perfect side to any meal.

    cooked chopped bacon could also be added at the mixing stage
