Hi I've made home made lasagne using mince and pasta EE and tinned tomatoes onions and peppers and origano free what would the sins of packet cheese sause be any ideas please
The syns would depend on the brand and whether it's just adding water or milk to it.
Why not make a a white sauce with quark which is free? It tastes just as good. I add 1tsp of cornflour (1 syn) to thicken it up.
For a white sauce on lasgane I tend to use Total 0% mixed with my HEX of strong cheese. I know it sounds a bit odd, but when cooked in the oven its lush.
