but does anyone else absolutely LOVE masterchef?! i cant get enough of it and all other food related programmes like come dine with me! constantly on 4od and bbc i player watching them all! a bit sad i know

I'm not particularly bothered by food shows per se, but Come Dine With Me is absolutely compulsive viewing! Putting 4 competing strangers together, chucking in food and wine, getting them to mark each other in secret and letting them nose around each others houses -pure genius in my eyes!! I watch it back to back on E4 on a Sunday afternoon while doing the ironing - it's the only way I'll do the ironing without going in to a strop!!

Ha ha ha I am addicted to these shows - I have them all sky plussed - loved the Mitch tonks fish programme that was on the food channel, love masterchef, market kitchen, etc etc and I pore over cook books calculating all the nutritional data - I have become a right bore! Can't wait to start cooking!
