Ok so it was suggested to me to start a diary here by one of the other members, so I thought I would give it a go!
I'm currently on day 4 of Slim and Save, which is my first ever attempt at a VLCD
I'm feeling a lot better today than I have the past three days, as the extreme hunger pains seem to have let up a bit! I'm feeling very positive which is nice, as yesterday I was convinced that I wouldn't be able to survive another day! I'm so not used to eating so little (obviously!) and it's really been a challenge for me to do this, but as I said, today is a better day
I must say that the S&S stuff is so tasty, nothing like I imagined it would be like! I was expecting bland, tasteless and boring when I first started researching meal replacement diets, but I'm very impressed with the variety of flavours that are available. I think the macaroni cheese and veggie soup are my favourites so far. I've had loads of fun experimenting with the food packs with some of the suggested recipes by other memebers on the recipe thread, which has made my meals even tastier. The chocolate shakes are amazing too!
I'm struggling a little with the 2 litres of water, I used to only ever drink water in tea or squash form so going from next to nothing to 2 litres every day has been tough!! But I'm certainly trying my best, and it's getting easier as time goes on
My first official weigh-in is on Saturday, so I'm rather excited to see what the scales will have say!
Hope every body is having a great and successful day so far, sending you all positive vibes! :vibes:
