I decided to write a wee diary in case anyone is suffering from insomnia. I'm hoping that this time I'm making a change for good and I can read it back in a year's time and be proud of myself for plodding along without my best friend, food, to ease the struggle.
So, I'm on day 3. Day 1 was ok although I struggled at night after work. Made my cauliflower and covered it in salt, pepper and mild chilli. It was lush. Day 2 was better - managed it without much bother which makes a change.
Today I had a frozen strawberry milkshake with a bit more water than advised so it felt like a massive meal and took me about an hour to eat and I still didn't manage to finish it. Then had Oatmeal at 11.30am which was quite nice - I added salt which made it very tasty. For lunch I have chilli then tonight I have spinach to have for dinner and probably a milky coffee before bed. That's quite a lot of food so I can't complain.
To be fair though, in 26c heat, chilli is the last thing I want...it will be worth it though. It will.
It really will.
