Hello :D I'm Dolly.
This is my 4th day on Slimfast. Thought I'd introduce myself & join in!


I'm 11st 11lbs but would love to be in the 10st range. Ideally 10st but small goals at a time! I've tried Slimming World and Weightwatchers but I didn't get on with those. Last year I did Dietchef which is good (I'd do it again) but it's a bit pricey. I've chosen Slim Fast because it's convenient & alot easier to make healthier choices.

I'm a Legal PA so I'm sat on my bum 60% of the time but I do try & exercise.

Hi Dollyanna, I hope you do well. I've been on and off this, but co-incidentally it's my 4th day back on too. It works on the basis of calorie control. I've decided to avoid evening carbs for now, giving myself a short-term run of just 28 days and decide what to do next. My job also involves quite a bit of sitting but I'm upping my exercise now; just starting the C25K and adding in other exercise too. I weigh 77kg at present with a BMI of 27 (aaargh!). If I can drop a couple of kilos over the next few weeks, that'd be great! All the best :)

Hi Dolly and Trim and welcome!!! How are you finding it so far? I try and incorporate exercise into my day too, as like you I have a desk job :character00148:
Dolly - my hubby is on Diet Chef and has lost quite a bit so far, I might try it next month if I find I plateau with SF, would you recommend?

Hope you are both enjoying the plan and see some good results!! When are your weigh in days? :D

Hi Trimlee, jesus that's alot more than I'm doing! I'm doing the odd exercise DVD here and there but have to keep changing them before I get bored and sick of the presenters! Would love to join a gym but it's finding the spare money. Looks like you're really doing well! Nearly half way there! xxx

Hi LighterCL! I'm actually finding it quite easy so far and I started it on Monday. My weigh in day is a Monday too, which forces me to be good on the weekend! I'd really recommend Dietchef, I lost around a stone on it and found it easy to stay on. I'd say it was better to do in the winter as the lunches are mainly all soups (which are lovely). It's convenient and the food doesn't taste too bad either! I only did the pay as you go (one month at a time) because I didn't know what the food was going to taste like, didn't want to commit to something just incase I hated it! Try and nick some of your hubby's meals so you can have a taster before you order your own! :eek:

Thanks for the tips Dolly! He' sjust signed up for another month, he's done SO well on it so far - just under a stone in a month! :D
