Depression, Binge Eating, Slimming World and me !

Hi! Just like to say good luck and welcome.
I also struggle with a mood disorder and I've been doing sw since 2006.....and believe me it works! Yes it can be harder if your struggling with moods but this site helps loads with support.
I'm still in bed today and its 1:30pm so I've come on here to motivate myself to get up.....if I stay here I can't eat you see....a good read on here and I'm ready to get up, eat something on plan and get doing something
 
It was just things he was saying that seemed like they were aimed at me, like 'if you can't do this then you shouldn't be here'. I can't think of the other things he said now, but I know it made me feel uncomfortable. I'm not keen on him at all, but I won't let him stop me ! :)
 
My food has been rubbish so far today, I need to go shopping.

Lunch - Noodles and soy sauce, Muller Light chocolate dessert (5 syns)

It's very encouraging to know that SW has helped you, it helps me to feel positive for myself. I hope you managed to get up in the end and get some healthy food inside of you ? I can really relate to that !
My food hasn't been great today as I ran out of fruit and veg (need to do some shopping), so foods rather boring today so far.
 
I hate fitness instructors like that, we all have to start somewhere as I'm sure they did!!

I've recently started going to the gym again and I am so unfit so god only knows what is going to happen when I go to my first class in about 6 months next week. I'll be the beetroot at the back on my 10th bottle of water!!

I'd keep going just to irritate him if nothing else!! :) x
 
Bad day food wise, I'll be going to the shop soon but I've felt so hungry today !

Just had a Slim-Fast heavenly chocolate delight bar (5 syns) and two slices of multigrain bread with vitalite spread (I'll have to syn this, I think about 10 syns is right) . So syns today are about 25 ! Oh dear, not good. I'll have to try and be good the next few days to make up for it. Does anyone else go over syns like this sometimes ? It's my own fault for having nothing in the house.

I always stick to day amounts as it helps be stop going over. Otherwise I don't eat for days then cram my face....binge. I'd keep a notebook with you for a few days and write down wat your eating as u eat it. I can also see your not getting ur super free which should be 1/3 meal

Just read ur previous post n saw u need to go shopping hence the no fruit n veg lol
As a binge eater I try n keep anything out the house I can possible have high binge syns on.....hence my 3am 500ml fat free yogurt binge rather than a crisp choc cake binge. I sometimes can't control binges but I can control wat I binge on
 
Do you have 10 syns, or do you go up to 15 a day ? Would you mind explaining the superfree 1/3 meal thing ? When I first joined group no one mentioned this. I've seen a few people talk about it on here, but I don't really understand. Sorry for all the questions x x
 
Oh, I've just looked in my book again. Is it just having superfree foods with every meal ? Sorry, I've not been with it today :-/
 
Morning,

So, yesterday was a bad day for me. My food was rubbish, my syns were awful, and I was feeling a bit fed up (I'm wondering if it all started from that instructor making me feel bad about myself). I eat more when I'm not feeling good. Anyway, I'm letting it go and moving on...

Breakfast - Two Weetabix (HeB) with chopped banana and 150ml of almond milk (HeA)
 
Here to follow :) we have the same goal weights ... My goal weight is taking ages to get to tho ... Ahhhhhh .. Need any help - just ask :) x x
