Slimming world... Your views?

    Hi I'm new here, this time last year id just finished dieting on Cambridge. I started out 14 stone 5, finishing on 11 stone 10 as I wanted to tone up and lose the rest in a healthier way than cutting out all my food!

    I then found out I was pregnant lol! Which evidently made me put weight on, I recently have birth 8 weeks ago to a beautiful baby girl. So now it's time to get the rest of the weight off.. For good! I started slimming world 2 weeks ago and so far so food. I feel I'm eating more than before but the weight seems to come off?

    First weigh in I lost 5lb
    The second weigh in I lost 1.5lb (making me 1/2 a lb off my half a stone! Annoying much?)

    Anyway what did everyone else find with slimming world? Xx

    Hi Sarah!

    Congratulations on your little girl!

    I love SW, but I've found most people have a lower (or STS) less their second week, because the first big loss is your body adjusting ad then once it settles you should lose steadily, don't let it put you off, it's nice to have a diet when you actually get to eat!

    Thanks, I'm finding it frustrating not being able to exercise much from my c section.

    I think I'm just super impatient, I like to see fast results. Stops me from letting the weight get to me too much maybe. But it feels less like a diet I guess! X

    If you're too worried, try cutting down your portion sizes, but as long as you're losing it's a step in the right direction.
    Even walking a little is good exercise, you definitely don't have to be doing vast amounts to help, even taking the stairs places, but don't push yourself till you're ready!

    I think your right, I may start cutting the portion sizes down a bit. Don't wanna lose it then put it back on! Just wish the weather was better x

    Ha yeah, that's half the problem with trying to go for a walk at the moment, every time I decide to go out, it rains!
