slow roasted tomatoes, anyone tried them?

Hi ya

Have got a friend coming over for dinner tmrw and wanted to make a SW friendly snack, have come across a reipe for slow roasted tomatoes, where you just chop them add some salt and pepper and put in oven for 1-2 hours on low heat. Has anyone tried this before? - dont wnat to waste time of cooking them for a few hours if its pants - am open to any other syn free snack ideas

I've done them in the past. Make sure you get tomatoes with a decent flavour. They end up a bit like the sun-blush tomatoes.....but without the oil lol

Use fresh plum toms and use a hb for olive oil and they are delish! Put some fresh origano on as well.x

They sound lovely, I must try them, I have lot's of home grown tomatoes to use up so this recipe would be ideal, thank you.
