Smoked salmon??

Just a quickie folks - is smoked salmon allowed?? (as in thin layered stuff) Packet says carb free.

Picked some up cheap earlier and I am desperate to eat it!!

Not really sure,but I don't think it's allowed 'cos of the salt added in the smoking process,no doubt someone more knowledgeable will be along soon........

Sorry salmon is not allowed until the higher plans as its higher in fat also the smoked is very salty.

Out of interest - we are alowed salt as a condiment similar to using pepper - why is the salt in salmon harmful? Are we only allowed a sprinkling to conform?

OMG I am fretting now - I am only on day 3 will I have stuffed it up for myself???????
