I am so-oo bored! My wife is at work and my lad is in bed.

The trouble is that I normally alleviate boredon by eating or by drinking wine. My 'lifelines' have been removed and I'm suffering! I know that these short term sacrifices lead to long term gains but right now..........

    I'm BORED!!!

Yep, in the early days you really do not know what to do with yourself. It is amazing just how much of our time was spent eating or thinking about food. Find something to do, whatever your hobbies or chores to be done, just keep your mind occupied at all costs. If you feel the munchies coming on , get a bottle of water and keep sipping. It keeps the edge off.

For Christmas I got one of those sony e-readers (electronic book reader). Its got about 50 books on it at the moment and since I started on Jan 20th I've read about 5 books! Also bought Sims 3 for computer for me to mess around designing houses as it can pass a few hours lol.

Thanks for the advice. I know things will get better but right now I'm too restless to read. My concentration levels are on par with my nine year olds! Anyway, following the advice to keep myself occupied I just did the ironing!!! Very theraputic!
