So disappointed in myself

I've put on 4lb this week. It's my first gain since I started so i'm just really down about it. It was my birthday on Monday and I had pizza and cake, then this weekend I went to see The Fillers (The Killers tribute band, they were ace!) and I got slightly tipsy (aka p!ssed as a fart!) so weigh in this morning was just awful.

I do WW from home on my own and I have to admit I have been finding the last few weeks really tough and have been losing but only small amounts due to the temptation of little naughty snacks, but I just don't feel I have the confidence to join a group yet.

This weekend I am away on a mini holiday so I want to have a good time (and drink!) but feeling guilty about even thinking about it.

Sorry for the rant, I don't really expect any replies I think I just needed to vent.

Meh what a week. :cry:

Ah I feel your pain hun :patback:

Look at it this way though - You had a good weekend, you enjoyed yourself but it's time to get back on track for the next 5 days. Then as long as you don't go totally wild over the weekend and stick to your points I bet you will lose again next week !
Maybe drink diet coke & vodka next weekend, it's not to bad on points. And if you have time try and exercise a bit this week, might help you feel less guilty.

Don't give up though chick xx

ive done the whole, eat too much and gain thing loads of times and honestly it happens to us all!! just watch what you are eating religiously until your w/e away and then do what the PP said up there ^^ and you will be fine!

i mean do you think skinny people go around never eating cake or drinking? no, exactly! as long as you get back on it thats what counts xxxxxx

Aww thank you for the replies, it's nice to have the support I am feeling so much better tonight about it, i'm going to be good with my food all week but still drink at the weekend and have a good time.

Hopefully next week a STS or loss would be good. :) Thank you once again for the kind words I really appreciate it.

Hi, its a tiny wee blip, thats all!! The fact that you've got back on it tonight shows you've got all the will power you need, stick with it, you'll be fine!! :)

How about changing your weigh in day? i know i tend to pop out on the weekend so my weigh day is a wednesday.. it gives my body a few days to get over what i've done or drank hehe!! or maybe weigh in before the weekend? like a friday? Like the others said don't worry at least you had a nice time right? x

My wi day is a Friday and its just perfect! Means I can treat myself Friday or Saturday and get back on the wagon for the rest of the week!

You had a good time and thats that. Love the tribute band were called the fillers :D! We have all done it, me more than once!:p At least you realized and your are trying to get back on track. Think sometimes maybe the shock of putting on the lbs is the kick up the bum we need to get right back into it.. New day new start and all that..
