I have never sts/gained before and I wasn't 100% on plan for 3/4 days this week but didn't binge or anything and I have gained 2.5lbs!!!!! I have gained what I lost last week and although I was given my 2stone cert from last week when I paid I haven't even lost 2stone anymore!!!!

I feel so upset - what I eat shouldn't warrent that much of a gain, I am sure and I feel like I have took myself ten steps back so now it could take me weeks to get that back off, I just want to kick myself :( I don't want to put my ticker back and actually make it real.

    ah chin up chick!

It is more than likely water retention. My consultant say you need to consume around an extra 3000 calories to put on 1lb of fat! Im sure you didnt eat that much! We all need a little binge every now and then it human nature!!

Get yourself back on track because this week is a new week and im sure you will be able to get it off!

    Good luck xx

My daughter only has to have one evening off plan and following that one day she puts on up to 3lbs. Most of it goes by the next weigh in though. She too is like you and hates being bigger than the award she has been given. So I guess what I am saying is you are not alone and as i say to her look at the bigger picture and not just a tiny portion. Big hugs hon xxxxxxxxx

    Thank you :)

I am trying to keep positive and think that I can get it off next week but I just can't get over it, I feel like such a crappy failure and this is the one thing that was going right in my control :/ just crap - but at least I have something to aim for, for next week - getting my 2 stone back.

"I feel like such a crappy failure "

Do not label yourself as a failure maybe your diet failed but that is very different from you being the failure. Think what you want to achieve and concentrate on that. you often get more of what you are thinking about so ditch the crap and give yourself a gentle nudge in the right direction xxx

No you haven't failed Hun! Now if you chucked it all in then yes you'd have failed! But you're not going to are you? You've already made plans to get it off next week! Most of it will be water. It may have delayed you getting to target by a week, so what? If say, you live another 70 years then what's a week?.
