I added 100grams of flour to 2 eggs, half a cup of fat free yoghurt, 4 tbsps sweetener, cinnamon, a carrot.
I added some sultanas , about a tablespoon full and i sliced up a few cherries.
Any idea of the syn value...it made 7 slices.
Thank you xxx

thank you for taking the time :)
it wasnt half bad actually. there was something missing spice wise but it was the same texture as a malt loaf! and if i have a slice each evening within syns I wont feel deprived when the rest of the family tuck into some real carrot cake!

How about adding some vanilla extract? That adds so much to cake!

Perhaps some extra cinnamon and some ground ginger too?

Sounds yummy!

Would it work with chickpeas instead of flour? There is a recipe somewhere for very low syn chickpea cake.....like a dense sponge type texture, lovely. - EDIT - No point anymore - it's all synned at around the same value as flour coz you're using it as a substitute. Pooh.
