So upset

#1
Hi I don't know really where to start me and my bf are in a long distance relationship and have been together about 21 months. I see him about once a month, he is meant to be coming up on Saturday as we are going on holiday nxt Tuesday, but tonight I logged into his Facebook by mistake and have seen that he is planning to meet up with an ex flame on Friday, he has told her what they will do. I just feel physically sick, I'm also work at the moment with depression so really don't need this on top of it. I really don't know what I wanted to achieve by posting this but didn't know what else to do x

omg, i am so sorry for what you are going through, he is so not worth it i'm afriad. don't let a bloke treat you like this. Continue your diet ( i know it will be hard) and do it for yourself and no-one else. You deserve so much better than that. I hope you're ok

To make matters worse it is also my birthday next week and I also got engaged and married on my birthday (I'm obviously now divorced) so this really isn't a good tome of year for me. I'm just sat here crying x

Sorry for what your going through.
I am a firm believer in that Everything in life happens for a reason, sometimes it's just not clear what that reason is.
Nobody deserves to be treated in that way and you deserve so much better.
In my opinion I think its better that you have found out his true colours now, rather than 5 or 10 years down the line.
Keep your head held high and try to stay positive x

It was the best decison I ever made cos now I have a lovely fella, a beautiful son and wer gettin married in dec. I couldnt be happier!

Just think there is someone out there who will respect u cos obviously this one doesnt !

Oh honey, big hugs. What a *******! Don't give him another chance, any bloke who loves you would never do that to you. Men like him (and women too) are not worth your tears. Carry on with your weight loss and do it for YOU. Get your confidence back and show that arsehole what he's missing. Big massive hugs hun xxx

I think it is easy for people to say don't give him another chance etc etc but making that decision is hard.

If you can forgive and truly FORGET and believe he will never do it again then don't throw away something that you think could work.

If you want to forgive him but don't trust that he would never do it again then I would seriously think about the pain you are in now and think how it would feel to find out for the 2nd/3rd/4th time.

My dad cheated on my mum when me, my brother and sister were all under the age of 5when she found out she kicked him out. It was a hard decision to make but I really look up to her for the strength she had to make that decision.

You have to think about trust and in a long distance relationship that can be hard at the best of times never mind when he hasn't given you a reason in the past to doubt him.

Hope you have some friends and family that are there to comfort you
xx
Hope you

Mrsk87 said it all really. You need to have a good think about what is best for you. I know if this happened to me I'd have to walk, I wouldn't be able to forget or get over the fact he had no respect for my feelings. But I know people who have given their other half a second chance, one is very happy, he soon realised what he'd done and what he could have lost. They are now getting married and are having a baby soon xxx

Take some time out to yourself and see how you feel. Good luck, I don't envy you xxxxxx

i'd echo what everyone else has to say and I'd just say cut all contact. this is really important because at the start of a breakup, you're tempted to cave in but this is a bad idea no matter what anyone says! change your number if you have to-delete his number *and* his texts so you've no record of his number! oh obviously delete him off facebook too! you're lucky that you found out, you could've wasted so much of your life with him, move on and upwards!! I never keep in contact with exes, they're an ex for a reason.

are you treating your depression btw? I've had depression, I posted good CBT links in the bring your head and your mind will follow section..CBT is really good for depression plus some anti-depressants! x
