Something I don't understand...

I heard someone mention a little while ago that not eating on SW is just as bad as over eating. Why is this?

I'm just a little worried as I didn't eat as much over the weekend due to being ill.
 
I think it's because, if you starve your body, it tries to conserve energy by slowing your metabolism down, so you burn fewer calories. I'm sure it's more scientific than that!

I wouldn't stress over a short bout of illness. What matters is longer-term.
 
Doughnut is right, it's like a car - you need to keep it well fuelled and oiled to work properly. But I wouldn't worry too much about short term
 
Speaking of which, I pulled into the petrol station on the way home from work tonight with my gauge showing just UNDER the red!! I was very lucky!
