Purple Hugs
Loves weight.. training!
My 6 chickens are off to pastures new today. :sigh:
We've had a constant struggle with rats visiting to steal their food etc since getting them, and with a baby on the way we've decided enough is enough. I can no longer care for them for fear of the infection etc, so it's been down to my hubby. Also much as we'll miss them we could sure use the space we have given them as a run in the garden.
So the girls will be moving to an orchard and field with horses - free-ranging as compensation.
I know they'll be just as happy, if not more so, but it'll take some getting used to them not chattering away to me (and the rest of the family) when I go into the garden.
I just hope my 4 year old doesn't take too long to get used to them going. The older two are fine about it. I managed to keep them as chickens rather than pets
