Can you split HEX? I know it's been asked on here before, but I can't find the thread!

For example, I'm having a green day today. I've had two lots of milk and I've had 3 Weetabix and have an Alpen light bar to munch later. Can one of the Weetabix and the Alpen bar be classed as a HEX? Does that all make sense?

I do that with my milk/cheese sometimes because I do EE, and some recipes ask for both milk and cheese, but not the full amount, so I'll use half and half. Likewise I sometimes have a piece of toast for breakfast and then an alpen light in the evening.

I do it all the time. I split one HEA of Milk each day, so monday i use 1/2 milk for HEA1 and use the other half on tuesday. leaving on monday 1 more HEA to use and on Tuesday 2 full groups ( plus the day befores 1/2 milk) so day 1 i use 1 1/2 HEA and on Day 2 i have 2 1/2 HEA) That make sense. So over the week i have 14 HEA's. Hasn't caused me any problems

Thanks everyone, never needed to do it before. Glad to see that I'm not the only one.

I don't go to classes so I must have read it on the BO site somewhere. As long as it's something that can be split, then yes, you can. I often have half cheese and half milk as I find the full milk allowance too much for just mugs of tea.
