SS+ Meal Ideas

    Hi all

    I started SS+ this evening (having been on SS for just over 3 weeks) and my first meal was 90g tuna all mashed up with one medium hard boiled egg sliced on top, it was yummy:)

    I was wondering if anyone has some good ideas for how to make meals out of the food allowed in SS+ please?

    I have already found some ideas on here, e.g. prawn omelette, mushroom omelette or a large mushroom with cottage cheese on top. Oooh celery dipped in cottage cheese might be nice, just thought of that one!

    So if anyone has any ideas they'd be much appreciated:)

    I love stuffed mushrooms :) mix 1/2 of your tuna and 1/2 cottage cheese together with some paprika or spices , stuff either 1 large flat mushroom or 2 smaller ones , then grate the mushroom stalk on the top ( comes out all crunchy :) and bake :) yum !!!

    I also like chicken dry stir fry , use a bit of water , chicken , mushrooms and cabbage with some curry spices .....

    I like baked white fish , put the fish in foil with some spices / paprika on top and a few slices of courgette ( keeps the fish lovely and moist and tastes yummy ) I like it with steamed brocolli

    have you got a gorge forman grill ?? I like just grilled chicken with spices on , the shwartz ( sp ?) ones are yummy

    I'm on SS+ and have loads of stuff!

    Our CDC reccommended those Shwartz Perfect Shake spice shaker things so we use them a lot.

    We have piri piri spiced chicken with steamed veggies. Fajita spiced grilled chicken. Omlettes! I have omlettes with mushrooms, courgettes, spinach, asparagus etc in. Also nice with broccoli in!
    We bought Chinese 5 spice shaker and have a stir fry with the spice and chicken, mushrooms and cabbage. Also made a sort of curry stew in the slow cooker with tandoori spiced chicken and veggies with water & chicken stock cube and curry spices.
    Cooked a Sunday roast last weekend and had chicken (no skin) and veggies with a stock cube thin gravy.

    I have spices a lot! They haven't affected my weight loss at all I don't think and I always check the salt content in them.
