start again!

hi everyone,
im not new to the site but i have been gone a while, i lost all motivation.
BUT i have it back, and i WILL lose the lbs.
I started slim fast on thursday, and wondering what every1 has as their main meal??
i have just been having salad but its getting borng.. i want something low in fat/cals but tasty? can any1 help?
hope you are all motivated and losing those lbs xxx

Hi and welcome I know what it's like to start again I'm doing that too after adding ten pounds to my body but my mojo is back just had the two shakes so far today which I'm pleased about good luck on your restart xxx if u need us just shout out

I have chicken alot, jacket potatoes, basically anything but i always make sure my plate is aleast 50% vegetables.

Check out the new recipe thread love for ideas.
I basically eat same evening meals, meatballs n pasta or meat n salad or quorns good n low fat!
I make a quorn sausage n bean spicy casserole with rice or a quorn mince cottage pie.

Welcome back! I've been back and forwards on this site a few times now, using different diets, but I've stuck to Slim Fast for almost 3 weeks now, which is quite an achievement for me! :) I usually have chicken with baby new potatoes, or I have pasta a lot too. I eat pretty much whatever I fancy, I just measure everything out so I know it's less than 600 calories. Usually it's a small portion if it's something higher in calories, but I'm not restricting anything, just making sure I stick below 300 calories :)

Thanks for support every1. Can I ask how much I should exect to lose each week with slim fast? Hope your all feeling positive and motivated xx

I lost 2lbs in my first week, and 3lbs in the second. Weighing in for the third time on Monday, so will let you know then, but I'm expecting 2-3lbs per week. I want to lose this weight slowly and steadily, so I'm more than happy with 2lbs a week, I think that's a realistic amount to expect :)

It depends, I lost 2lb, then another 2lb then 1 n a bit, other guys on ere seem to loose a bit more but I don't mind owt is better than nowt! Lol x

I'm also back doing Slimfast - been gone for a while - and gained weight instead of losing it! :( But starting again and hope this time will be more successful!
