Starting again- Motivation needed

Hi Everybody,

I am a newbie to the forum but used it as inspiration last year to lose 2 stones on ss+.
I have been a naughty girl & put a stone back on & really want to lose it again plus a bit extra in time for a skiing holiday at Easter.
I am really annoyed at myself as I had done so well & I can't seem to get the motivation going again :sigh: Help!!!!!!

Well done you for making the decision to get back on CD!

Have another look at the before and after slideshow on here, the first time I looked at it, it made me cry! (in a good way)

Keep posting on here, it really helps to get involved rather than just lurk.

Write a list of all the reasons you want to lose weight but keep it positive e.g "I want to look fabulous for my Easter holiday" rather than "I don't want to be fat for my Easter holiday".

Get that first week behind you and your loss should hopefully give you some extra motivation...good luck :)

Loved the advice about keeping the reasons for weight loss positive rather than negative.... reminds me of what a hypnotist said to me once about not thinking about 'losing weight' as if we lose something - what do we instantly do..... look for it again!! So we need to think of it in the same way as throwing it away or getting rid!! Just being back on the forums is starting to remotivate me again, think I'll have to make visiting a daily occurance again! But all the best for your restart! I'm getting back on track again tomorrow!

Have spoken to my CDC & I am waiting till after half term now as we have booked a last minute holiday, in the meantime I am going to work out how to put my photo & weight loss ticker thingy on.

Good luck for your restart. Maybe use this week as a way to reduce your carbs so you don't get those awful withdrawl headaches. I found that keeping myself occupied stops me wanting to come off track
