Well this is day one of a new beginning for me. After deliberating over which diet suited me best, I have decided to go for Slim and Save. I have a lot of weight to lose, and so I'm going to set myself mini targets, so that I feel I am achieving something!

Have just picked up my trial pack for my 1st week, so I am ready to go!


Anybody who is interested in my journey, welcome! I'm hoping to use this diary as a tool for me to track my progress, and give me the kick up the b** when needed!

Goal 1: Lose 7 lbs
Goal 2: Lose 14 lbs
Goal 3: Continue Slim and Save until Christmas (after which I am going on holiday so will take a break for a week, and then decide if I want to continue)


Lets do this!!!
 
Well so far, so good!
Have had the crispy chocolate shake and thai soup. Wasn't sure about the bits in the shake but the shoup was ok. Looking forward to having a bar tonight, feel like I need to chew on something!
 
That's the reason I don't have shakes and add zero noodles to the soup as I can't help but feel that they are drinks and not food!!!
You are on your way well done, keep it up its sooooo much easier after the first 3 days when your in ketosis.

Well i'm into day 2 now, really pleased I got through day 1 without any issues at all. I'm a little hungry this morning as waiting to have my first pack until a bit later but just downing the water to suppress it.

Also determined not to weigh myself until I have completed week 1. I know I would probably see a loss if I weighed tomorrow but want to see the big loss at the end of the week!

Morning!

Well day 5 for me, had to go out for a meal that had been planned for a long time last night, but back onto it 100% today.

Feeling really good though and can't wait for first weigh in on Wednesday!

How are you getting I'm think of doing this to kickstart some weight loss before Xmas, I'm thinking is the taster pack with 4 meals a day is that what you do? How is it?

I would definitely recommend it for a kick-start to your weight loss!
I initially ordered the taster pack, but have now had a delivery for another 2 weeks worth, as some packs are easier to have at work like the soup (I make it into a cup a soup). If you are ordering more, the mens 5 a day pack works out slightly cheaper on a per pack basis, although not as cheap as the taster pack!
I found the diet relatively easy on weekdays, but the weekend was more difficult I must admit. Yesterday we were out & about for most of the day, and only being able to have the bar because it doesn't need any preperation, was more diffucult, but I did it, and in fairness, I probably had knocked myself out of ketosis on saturday, having been out for a pre-diet arranged meal!

I won't lose the weight I need to by Christmas, but I wanted to do something now, and then be able to enjoy Christmas and my holiday, before getting back down to losing some serious weight!

Thanks for your reply, I have an Xmas do on the 6th so I want to start Thursday and do the diet until then with that day off and reasses wether to do another week or so before Xmas, I know I'm going to feel crappy at first but I really need a kick start I also find weekends hard as I only see my fella then unless I'm working! And he eats like a horse and likes going for meals! But ill have to just work around it

Morning, can't believe it, lost 9.2lbs in my first week!
So so pleased with that!

Well done that's great do you do the four a day? How to you have them cld you post what you have for breakfast lunch ect? Sorry I'm dumb and trying to get my head around it

Hi Baby-belle,
Yes I've been having the 4 packs a day, my weekday routine is:

Pack 1: Soup around 1:30pm
Pack 2: Shake aroung 5pm
Pack 3: Meal (e.g. Macaroni Cheese/ Spaghetti, with small amount of broccoli/ cauliflour/ or mushroom), around 7pm
Pack 4: Bar around 9:30pm

I find this rountine works really well for me as I used to come in from work about 5 and want to pick on anything I could find, so having the shake avoids that feeling! And I used to always have another snack after dinner at night, so again having the bar later on helps that craving!
I know it probably seems a bit odd having not a lot through the day, but now I'm in ketosis, I don't really notice it, and just look forward to having my packs as planned.
