Starting on Monday...

    Hey everyone, I've decided to start the CD on Monday.

    I tried it last year and never stuck to it, I've managed to lose 20 something lbs by doing SW and now feel like there's less of a mountain to climb so I'm going to try SS-ing it for 8 weeks as a kick start then see how I get on. I've got a big party on the 8th April and I HAVE to look amazing by then as there's a guy I really want to impress. We used to kinda date years ago when I was about 11 stone and I last saw him earlier last year when I was 16 and a half stone, and although he wasn't horrible or anything I could see in his face he was thinking jesus what's happened to her! Soooo... that's the motivation for now lol.

    I'm having my last drink tonight and tomorrow I'm going to try and stay off the carbs... any other advice? Wish me luck!

    Hiya Katie,

    I'm re-starting after a couple of years and now on day 5. I think you just have to take every day at a time and keep remembering why you want to lose weight. The first few days are the hardest but once you get past that it gets a lot easier, or it did for me anyway.

    I'm getting married in Sept so thats what I'm aiming for. I've picked my wedding dress but need to get measured for it in April so I'm trying to lost as much as I can before then.

    Well done on losing 20 odd on SW and good luck xx

    hey good luck for starting on monday, im sure by time April comes ul knock his socks off!!!! the best advice i can offer is to keep hydrated as this will benefit u in so many ways :)

    Thanks! Is it around 3 litres a day you need to drink? I'm going to try and space it out with 500mls every couple of hrs I think...

    good idea katie. at the start of each day, i have my bottles ready filled and know iv got to finish them by end of day, i can really tell the difference if i dont quite make it.
