Hi, I just wanted to say hellooooo!! I'm on Step 2 and have my first weigh in tomorrow morning. I've been absolutely 100% since the beginning and already feel better in myself. I have a massive 8st to lose so I expect I'll be around for a while!! Good luck everyone x

Good luck guys! Sticking to the plans becomes easier, but some days are hard, so push through them!
Today was a good day for me :) roll on another good day for all!

Im done 3 weeks now and only lost 4.5 lbs! rubbish! i havent been able to stick to it, finding it so hard. feeling more confident about sticking to it this week though and hope to get a 3-4lb loss.

hows you all doing?
 
You've done well losing if you've not stuck to it rigidly. What do you struggle with the most? I had a foot long hot dog at lunch :/ xx
 
well my struggles so far have been:

1. My bf having a normall dinner and me doing the cooking and wanting to pick at his as i cook (or worse if he hasnt finished and its left on his plate, lol).

2. all the naughty treats that get bought into the office and seeing everyon else have some

3. Socialising and wanting to drink with my friends

The main thing i need to get under control is picking as bits and stop blimming drinking! lol.

1) my husband cooks his own meals so that I don't have to. Try suggest that your boyfriend does the same. Or at least helps you to cook it and discourages you from picking at it...

2) I also find it really hard at work with all the snacks around. Just try to avoid the area where the snacks are. Also, tell your colleagues that you are on the plan and ask them to support you... So that when you try to snack they can be your conscience.

3) I use a bobble which is a filtered bottle for water. I carry it everywhere with me and it helps. There is no reason why you can't socialise with your friends with a glass of water. I saw a post on here about someone who drinks their water out of a wine glass... You could try that!
 
Some great tips there Sunflowerlady :)

I did LLL a few years ago and managed a few nights out just drinking soda water. I quite enjoyed it xx

ps the hot dog was not worth it. Stomach pains since. Serves me right!
 
Thanks so much for the tips! some good advise there! In the zone this week and feeling like i can stick to it 100% this week! I have only lost 4lbs in 3 weeks but this week i want to loose another 4lb in one week!!! :) This is so do-able and I am going to do it!

Hi all :) hope I can join in this thread?! I started on the 810 plan on the 4th march and I have lost 11.8lbs so far! I have about 4 stone to lose.. going away in 8 weeks with family so hope I can have a good chunk off by then! good luck everyone x Alli x
