    Hello everyone :)
    I feel that right now I'm at a crossroads where my body is concerned. It could get a hell of a lot worse or it could get a hell of a lot better! Obviously I'd prefer the latter, so this morning I decided that enough is enough, I'm fed up of feeling that my body simply isn't good enough. I've resolved to do everything I can to get the body that I want, for me this doesn't just mean cutting calories and exercising but also eating the best that I can and perhaps looking after my skin a bit better. It's going to be rough going I'm sure but I hope that with a bit of support and a lot of will power I will get there!

    I've managed to get through the first two days... But even that wasn't easy!!
    I eat really well in the day and everything that goes in my mouth is healthy - then I get to dinner which isn't as healthy as I'd like but at least it fits into my calorie goal! Not snacking in the evening is a killer though!!! But so far so good. I think I even deserve a big pat in the back because today at the shop my OH pointed out a choc croissant and asked me if I wanted it. It took a fair bit of will power to say no, even more so when he said are you sure?? I'm determined to beat my sweet tooth haha!

    Oh dear, it was going so well! Not even a week in and I've messed up.
    Had a girl friend round for a chin wag, which is great but she bought cake with her....chocolate cake!!! I had at least 3 slices which is ridiculous. But it just kept calling to me and I couldn't resist. I suppose all I can do now is damage control and make sure I do better tomorrow! Doesn't stop me feeling really guilty though.

    I have so much sympathy, a really sweet tooth and lack of willpower! But I find if I go cold turkey I'm worse and will slip up just as you have. But if I allow some calories a day to have a kitkat or something I cheat much less because I don't feel like I can't have it. Sounds odd but it works for me.

    I've found that I love really dark choc, like the 85% stuff :D so normally I have a square of that but anything else and I slip into the 'i'll have it all now so I won't have any distractions tomorrow' mentality.
    I've told my friend, I'm not having that anymore I want to get healthy, so I'm sure no more cake will be brought into my house! Haha. Long as I have the dark stuff I'm a ok :)

    Yeah I wouldn't worry about the cake. I slipped up at the beginning so many times because I literally forgot not to eat. But well done with telling your friend not to bring cake any more.

    So getting back on the wagon was actually easier than expected...staying on it is another thing haha. Thanks for the support guys! Been invited over to my neighbours for some drinks tonight so I've done some excersise this morning and I'm trying to save as many cals as possible in anticipation! I'm optimistic that I won't go over my calorie goal, and if I do not by much. I'm sure one glass of wine won't hurt :)

    omg that is exactly what i do! In fact i did it yesterday and today i've just gone back to bad habits and i didn't even really realise it!

    Thanks Jude. It's hard isn't it, it's like well I want it now and I can't have it tomorrow if it's not there! I figure if I keep it out of the house I won't have so many crazy binges. Food shopping tomorrow will be a challenge!!

    I think i'm going to have to keep it out the house and if i want a bar of chocolate or something nice i'll buy it individually or i might get hubby to lock it away somewhere! We're going food shopping a bit later, i've written a list and i'm sticking to it! x

    Sounds like a good idea, perhaps a walk to the shop for a choccy bar would work a couple of those cals off!! Good luck, don't let that sweety isle tempt you! Will be writing my list tomorrow morn :)

    Well so far so good! I'm managing to get up in the mornings for a bit of excersise and I feel I'm doing well on the calorie front. It's starting to feel like I'm eating too much haha. Guess I've just got used to different portion sizes?? Feeling really optimistic today :D
