Week and a half in and already feeling the weight loss! 6lbs so far, my asthmas eased off and energy levels are lifting. Been a long time since doing SW before and never should have stopped..... Not doing that again! This time i'm sticking to it and you all have this here in writing to hold against me if I should fail to remember that. :eek:

I love my food and I think this is why SW works for me. The stuff I love most (apart from crisps- although I can still have some which is great) are free or low syns but my long term boyfriend (a stick man - insanely jealous) loves chips and pizzas and battered chicken and the like I have found it easier to make one meal rather then 3 or 4 different meals (we have 3 kids). From now on they eat the same as me a good healthy meal or they make there own!! Simples :)

For now, for financial reasons, I am going alone with out the weekly weigh-in meetings but I will join up when I start to lose focus or my weight loss STS for a while like it has before. But because I am doing it alone I know I need this support of this group...This website is the best!

Weekly weigh-in's are at home on Wednesday mornings. Starting weight on the 15th August 2012 is 14st 8lbs. My heaviest weight ever! getting under 14st is my first goal!

First weight in 22nd August 2012 - 14st 2lbs almost there!

Great first week (kids actually like it too, OH not as keen) and looking forward to next weigh in. All happy so far.
 
Well done you!! on your first weigh in, 6lbs that's a great first week. This is a great site, plenty of support and motivation, so if you need help, just ask.

Thank you for you supportive message Tesam2931. Very stressful day today. Grandma in hospital with breathing problems, Great Granddad in a home didn't even remember me today and Great Nan who just had a pace maker fitted kept thinking i was my sister WHO IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!! They are both missing each other like crazy.

OMG what a day..... I have had 2 Lattes from the coffee shop and have no idea of how many syns are in them (perhaps someone could let me know) but I have had nothing else so i'm not really bother about that today. Just need my bed. Night all. x
 
Having a really hard time at the moment with family life.... Trying so hard not to cave in and just give up. Not eaten for days really so when mum shoved Fresh bread and butter under my nose at lunch time I couldn't resist (my weakness). Couldn't even stomach the steak and salad she did for me last night and thats not like me. So I had 2 slices of fresh (door step slices) bread with marg. For the syns I saved the last few days I am sure it will be OK. Actually eating made me feel a lot better about everything so I am cooking tonight and weigh-in in the morning (a STS ill be happy with after 6lb loss in my first week) and next week WILL be better. It cant get any worse then this week.
 
OK so I haven't cooked tonight.....it got worse!! :( Try to sleep, weigh-in and start again on a better day tomorrow. Please let me have a better day tomorrow!
 
Stayed the Same..... Better luck next week. :)
 
We decided to have a week away. Had a really tough few weeks and needed a break. SO I'M BACK and ready for another fresh start. :)

Passed my PDI part one too :)

You said for money reasons you were going alone? Have you thought about getting your GP to refer you? My GP has just referred me so I have 12 weeks of SW absolutely free, I hope this is the kick start I needed!
