Still Struggling now on day 5

Hi all, i was climbing the walls last night i was soooo hungry, sick of coffee and water are you sure this will pass im so sceptical whereas before i was really confident i could do this but now im note so sure.

As im dong SS i thought i could have 200ml skimmed milk at night to help but my consultant said it would take me out of ketsosis, i dont want to ruin the last 4 days so will stick with it but she told me soon i will lose all my hunger pains but i just cant see it happening to me i thought that by day 5 i may not feel as hungry but im even giving the dog funny looks now cuz im that bloody starving might bbq him later!:sigh:

Oh keep with it, it will be worth it, everyone is different, it takes some people 2 days and others 5 or 6 to get into ketosis, maybe ur not quite there yet. Are u drinking plenty of water ? I find coke zero helps, I don't drink much, but when I'm struggling I have a couple of sips and it does help. Stick with it if u can as your weight loss will be amazing. This is day 8 for me today, I weighed this morning and have lost 9lb !! Was so so shocked. Try sparkling water as well as still water. Good luck, hope u manage to start feeling better soon xx

Hi mandy,

Please stick with it as it will be sooooo worth it.I dont think your cdc is right in saying that the milk would take you out of ketosis,im pretty sure you are alllowed it on ss+ and you stay in ketosis on that.Just double check that though.I do ss+ and i have a coke zero every night it really helps alot.You will soon be in ketosis and it will get alot easier.Ketosis doesnt take away the "urge/want" to eat though so you have to be strong,it just takes away the hunger pangs.

This is a fantastic diet with fantastic results,its not an easy option,but the scales do speak for themselves.You`ve almost finished your 1st week you`ll be so glad you stuck it out and your great loss for the week will give you the motivation that you need to get throught the following week.

Just think that this is a CHOICE that you have made and your not being forced to do it.Think that you could have some food but you CHOOSE not to,i find that this helps me sometimes.Its not a life sentence but a life choice you have made to feel better/healthier about yourself.
