Struggling again - push me in the right direction

    Urgh. I plateau'd at 16 and a half stone and I've done it again at 15 and a half. I've been fluxuating between 216 and 220 for the last few months.

    I need a kick up the backside.

    I've been eating like it's going out of fashion. Like I'm never going to have a proper meal in all my life. Yesterday I had a massive carvery plus dessert. Then a jacket potato for dinner and a cheese toastie later on.

    Bloody hell I never eat like that. But my brain just wasn't telling me that I was full despite knowing that I should've been.

    I go on holiday, to America -hopefully, damn volcano - in June. I want to be in the 14s by then. Don't care if it is 14 stone 13 lbs. I want to see that 14 on my scales.

    What can I do? Do you any of you fancy swapping email addresses and keeping in touch daily with what we've been doing. That would help me immensely.

    How do you train yourself to know that an unhealthy food will never taste as good as being thin feels. I sort of think 'well I'd rather have chocolate right now.' I need to replace that eating with another treat.

    What is a treat that isn't food? Shoes? Every time I don't eat something unhealthy I really want or I go for a run I can put a fiver towards the shoes I want!

    So C25K, shoe rewards and proper calorie counting no more than 1500 per day.

    Help people. Help me to do this.

    Hi there, really sorry to hear you're struggling.
    I know what you mean having a huge appetite,
    I am exactly the same. I gained three pounds
    last week and am really struggling to feel motivated
    to exercise and make the right choices, I think
    I might need a diet buddy to swap emails with
    and just have a bit of support.

    well I'm glad other people are having this problem! I lost a stone and a half in 12 weeks which I was so happy with, now for the past 4 weeks I've stuck at 10 stone 10 :( but I think its cause I'm not as focused now, I go on holiday in 3 weeks and wanted to have lost another stone by then! but those 4 weeks staying stuck at this have really put a stop to that! I need some motivation cause this is really getting me down that I'm not even losing half a pound! nothing! lol xx

    Hi i only joined this site yesterday as im struggling to lose weight. Its good to see im not the only one whos a bit struck. Having someone to give me a kick would help alot
