Struggling to get back in to shapes, advice anyone please?

Hi everyone im new here!

Basically, i am a 17 year old male; 5 foot 6 and just over 12 stone... Not good i know! Since i stopped playing Rugby over 8month ago due to having no time and work taking over; i have gone in really bad shape. Around my stomach and 'love handle' area gaining stretch marks and my stomach getting like a beer one!

Has anyone got any advice that would personally aid me. In all honesty im just after the 6 pack look. I have the abs just have that thick lining of lard and the stomach hiding it.

What cardio excersises? what weight excersises?

It's all recently shocked me after noticing the big impact it has had since all the beer and takeaways of christmas and so on..

Any advice will be great, thanks for your help guys! Appreciate it.. :)
