I seem to remember something from when I did cd last time in that I had sugar free mints, are we still able to have these? (And does it have to be any specific one?)

    Ahh ok, cool!

I wonder what's in mints that mean you can't have them, how strange!

Sugar free chewing gum isn't allowed or recommended by CD.

The chewing action can make you feel hungry and the acids build in the stomach as the body thinks food is on the way.

If you really really need to use chewing gum chew just for a few moments to freshen the mouth then get rid.

Some have carbs, flavourings and also sorbitol which can cause upset stomach or diarrhoea.

You can use mouthspray, mouthwash, brush your teeth more and you can use Listermint Strips, these look like little sheets of paper you place on your tongue. They are usually found the the pharmacy section of supermarkets.
