Polyols are pretend sugars that you don't absorb. Good in that they don't contribute to your carbs, BAAAAAAAD in that they DO contribute to, em, wind and, er, looseness. :eek:
 
As we've all discovered :D:D:D

But sometimes the need for something sweet overcomes the side effects - or should that be bottom effects?? :D
