Summer's weight loss journey - one day at a time

Half a lb off this week, lost my SW mojo completely with only 3 days of the last 7 on plan. Trying really hard to get my head back in the zone but it's not happening and I'm away this weekend fri-sun so won't be on plan either. Don't want to blow my hard work so far this early into the month with Christmas coming

Hope things sort out for us- maybe it is the cold weather and the festive treats around?!
Congrats on your pound off though- awesome! I am expecting another gain tomorrow probably :/

Hey! Not bothered checking in for a few days because I'm in London and completely off plan. I figured it's Christmas, I'm here with mom and I don't want to feel restricted and deprived. So eating and drinking whatever I feel like but walking miles and will deal with the gain! How are you? Xx
 
I'm about to have a day like that for my anniversary :D have you been to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park yet? Last year I got so depressed there as I had just started SW and everything looked so good but was really synful- this year I'm going to enjoy it methinks ;)
Glad your head is still in the gane with walking etc. I think the most important thing is being able to get back into plan after treat wrek rather than falling off the wagon- a week off may set us back a couple of weeks but falling off all together could be the end of it!

Had the best time in London! Didn't go to Winter wonderland but did go to the little christmas market on the Southbank. Spent the weekend christmas shopping, went to see the bodyguard, had festive afternoon tea with my Auntie who lives in Surrey but came to meet us. Ate and drank lots of synful things including mexican food, espresso martini, mulled wine, burger and fries, mince pie and shortbread! Eek! Had one on plan day on monday then yesterday was fairly good but had about 10 syns too many.
Anyway WI - half a lb gain. Going to try to get that off this week and hopefully a little more but have got a christmas meal next week so would be happy with a STS.
 
1.5lb gain this week, have got a stinking cold and bad chest, work has been mega busy and just the combination of the two has meant zero willpower. Had a lovely meal out on mon with work friends and meant to be going out tonight for curry with school friends. Will get back on the bandwagon after Christmas.
 
1.5lbs isnt bad! I am SO petrified to WI after a week on hol and two birthdays off plan- I would rejoice at a 1.5lb gain at this point!

Hope things cool down soon... Have you got some time off over xmas? X
 
I worked night shift last night and am off now until Boxing Day which is fab. Working loads between Christmas and the new year though.
My baby nephew came into the world on Friday, he's the most perfect and amazing little one. I'm of course a very biased auntie!
Not really thinking about the plan now, will be right back on track Jan 2nd.

I'm a nurse to :) how are you getting on now? I have 1.5 stones to loose I would like this gone by June really for my holiday so I need to get my butt in gear! And then 2015 I shall we getting married

Have gained around 3lbs over Christmas but that has been most of December with meals out and too many festive treats! 2nd of Jan I plan to get back on the wagon 100% and aiming to lose another 2 stones but not got a specific date in mind.

Work was really busy yesterday, am off today then working 5 days out of the next 6 :(

aww he's gorgeous, I am a critical care nurse it's great but very challenging and can play havoc on my eating habbits, I also find shift work hard is find some shifts I'm constantly hungry some I don't have time to eat then am starving when I get home and eat everything in site! I have gained 5lbs over dec I have had do many meals out and general face stuffing, I had started back on track today but I am out for a few drinks tonight, I am working over New Years but will be celebrating with a champagne breakfast with my friend on the 2nd after our nights so apart from these two occasions I need to knuckle down big time, what are do you work in?
 
I work in cardiology, also very busy! Just returned to the unit following a year long secondment in cardiac research, it was nice and I learnt lots but missed the patients and days off in the week!
How long have you been qualified? I find as nurses we aren't too great at looking after ourselves and it's not helped by lack of breaks!

ive only been qualified a year so it's all still very new and scary to me and I was crazy some say lucky enough to get a job in critical care straight from qualifying no we are not good at looking after ourselves I know I need to drink much more than I do!! Are you on insta-gram? I follow loads of people on there people post food and give you so many ideas just thought I'd recommend it of not I am babybelle_sw if you want to add me
 
Well I'm devastated to report that what was a 3lb gain on Xmas Eve morning is now a stonking 6lb gain!! Star week is looming but still that's pretty poor :-/ it's scared me a little but I know I can't be 100% on it until after new year. So my plan for the next 5 days is to cut back on the bickies/mince pies/choc and booze to control the damage and to drink more water and have more fruit n veg. I know it's silly after a year mostly on plan but I just can't get into the mindset at the moment.
Hubby got me a polar fit watch for Christmas which is something id been looking at for ages, am excited to try it at Zumba or combat next week.
Right, off to work. Have packed turkey salad with extra light mayo, fruit and a huge bottle of Evan! Got mugshot in my locker if I need it and ww yog in the fridge for later.
2014 will be the year I get to target!

I am sure looming * week explaims the extra gain- 3lbs of water weight is almost expected when due on so I'm sure that will go quickly. Can imagine it is quite devistating though :( but even if it is from food- easy on, easy off! so hard to be on plan when you've had some time noshing on xmas food which is still around! You sound well prepared with your turkey salad though :D

So WI shows a total of +7 in the last 4 weeks....feeling pretty crappy about it but new year and new start. Hoping to get this half a stone off asap. No sign of star week although have felt pretty PMS'y and bloated...although that could be all the rubbish i've eaten and drank lately.

Todays diary

B- 30g all bran choc crunch (hxb), vanilla ww yogurt, chopped strawberries

L-chicken and sweetcorn mugshot, satsuma, bannana, nectarine, single finger twix (6 syns)

S-Apple, ww toffee yogurt

D-Chicken in nandos marinade (2 syns), sweet potato jacket, salad with balsamic vinegar.
2 heros chocs (5 syns)

drinks - 1.5 l water, green tea, 500ml NAS squash, cup of tea with skimmed milk from HXa

13 syns total

Absolutely shattered after a long stretch of 12.5 hour days at work! Going to hit the gym tomorrow and try out my new polar fitness watch that santa got me for christmas!
