I’m not sure if this post belongs in here or the cambridge restarters forum but I wanted to post in here because its more active and I am looking for lots of advice and help.
Since finishing CD just before ramadan in september I have gained about a stone. But I think 5lbs is due to water because I tend to lose this within the first 2 days of restarting CD. I have made numerous attempts at restarting and I always only ever get to day 3 or 4. I don’t know what it is but I just let my hunger take over and then I’ll give in and have something to eat. I have been keeping a note of when I feel like giving up and why and I have found that I tend to give up when I go too long without my milkshakes and I’m starved or when I am stressed.
I am thinking of starting again tomorrow as TOTM should be over and a nice big loss could really motivate me. I am about 9stones 10lbs right now and I thought I could SS for a week to get into ketosis and then move up the steps.
I am very keen to get CD over with and this is the perfect month to do so as I have time off uni and my placement so I do not have to worry about commuting or not drinking enough water. The days are also shorter and I can stay occupied with assignments and reading. I dont have to worry about xmas dinner etc because i dont celebrate xmas and I’v also got more time to be on minimins which I found very helpful last time.
I wasn’t actually going to make this post today because I was afriad I would fail but I am hoping that I will find the support and help I need.
So if anyone has any words of wisdom they would like to share about restarting I would appreciate it very much. Also, if anyone needs a buddy I am more than happy to help.
I only have a few packs left from before so I should be able to start tomorrow but I cant get in touch with a CDC where I live. So I am looking for a CDC in Derby because thats where I commute to univeristy about once a week. So if there are any Derby CDCs about please pm me so I can discuss getting back into the diet.
I’m also looking for msn buddies, so if anyone wants to add me, plz pm me and I will reply with my addy.
