Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

WI is Wednesday I'd like to shift that 4lbs by then fingers crossed!! But I'm going to stick to Sunday morning wi's for my results because it's more consistent. I work shifts so my WI at my CDC is never the same day twice, but I'll always be home on a Sunday morning to WI on my own scales.

Hey sal....guess what?! Appointment with cdc booked for tomorrow evening. Day1 today...havent weighed and will try to not look tomorrow evening at weigh in too. It doesnt matter anymore, its not the weight but the inches that matter. Feel a little bit liberated?! Lol :) hope your killer shift is going well?
 
Hi! Been dipping into your diary for weeks! My weigh in is wed at 8.00pm and my cdc's scales weigh 1.5 heavier than mine (which weigh the same as my friend's). For some reason I feel compelled to use cdc's scales for my stats but know I am 5-6lbs lighter in the morning at home.
Socialising is a nightmare - I am going to stay with friends next weekend and just can't not eat or drink as I haven't seen them for ages. Have also got family visiting soon. I have decided that i just have to come off plan for dinner (and drinks) and get back on SS straight after. I just don't think it's realistic to avoid eating/drinking for months at a time. At last when it goes on quickly it seems to come off quickly.

Ive been dipping in for months keeping up with how you were getting on how was your weigh in last night?

the weekend sounds awful I dont know how you kept quiet I think I would have had to have said something if he was playing on his phone constantly sitting next to me!

I cant believe its been a year since I saw you in Rossett Hall!

Ive started slim and save last week adn its great - I need to get to goal in september too so I can maintain for 2 months for my 40th ( big party planned so need to look like Jess Rabbit not Mavis cruet!)

Eee bloody hell where has the time gone??? How're you doing??

Im in denial at the moment, I refused to get weighed at WI and have until a week on Friday to undo my two weeks worth of misdemeanors!! Had a good old cry at WI about how weak I am and about why I can't go it. CDC very understanding and positive. Told me to pull myself together, put the last few weeks behind me and start fresh. And to call her whenever I feel weak.

I know I need to get cracking now, I just wish I had the strength to say no to temptation. One day at a time from now on...... Oh dear I'm like a stuck record, I should go through my diary and count exactly how many times I've said "Right I'm going to do it!"
 
Well I seem to have recovered from yet another nasty bout of gastroenteritis. I feel like I've been washed out with bleach :( but on the plus side I've now got that nice empty tummy feeling that comes after a week or so on CD.

Im totally dehydrated and my lips are cracked and sore so today's mission is to drink as much water as I can. I just couldn't keep anything down yesterday at all. But at least it's a good start to CD again now, I probs won't have lost much weight this week due to dehydration but never mind I've got time to work on it! I've got to do it.
 
Do you think these bouts of gastro have had anything to do with your IBS troubles of late?
 
Gp thinks the first bout is what triggered it. And the pain is back again after it had died right down. I'm not impressed, but it's an occupational hazard. Its rife at the hospital wards are closed because of it do it's generally inevitable that a few of us will catch it. I'm usually ok but haven't properly recovered from last lot so immune system couldn't cope. It's such a pain.
 
I've got a mega craving for chocolate, I don't know why :(
 
No :( could happily eat my weight in chocolate right now!! My TOTM is due next sat and I'm worried about my friend who is being investigated for heart problems (she's only 40) and otherwise fit and healthy.

Mmm chocolate! Love the stuff so glad that we have the chocolate shakes and chocolate bars on CD. Hope your friend's problems are quickly solved and she feels better soon! Hang in there!
 
First things first confession time: My appetite came back with a vengeance yesterday and rather than being sensible and having extra diet product I binged, and carried on bingeing today!! :( the good thing is that it scared the sh!t out of me. I haven't had a proper binge like this since 2008!!! And I've been so very careful not to let it happen so I'm disgusted with myself.

I can't let myself do this again, l can't slip back into old habits!!

I also learned at lunchtime while I was tucking into a jacket potato that I've become completely phobic about carbs and fat!! These two days that has gone out of the window and I've bought and eaten quite fatty carby food!!

Im going to text my CDC in the morning to tell her what I've done, I need to own up to my naughtiness. How the heck to I get my head back in the game? Time is ticking away!
 
Surf, you are doing a me! You need to take the pressure off, you are telling yourself you are going to fail, so you are! You need to give yourself a break, take a breather and have faith in yourself :) You can do it, you have done it and you will do it again ;)
 
I know it's a tad gimicky but I highly reccomend the lose 2 jeans size slimpods. They have been very relaxing and maybe that's something that would do you good?

Don't stress honey today is always a new day!
 
Haha. They are a new tool in the arsenal of weight management for me. Basically hypnosis but using NLP and mind weaving. About to go and listen in the bath now.
