    Hi there

I have been following the SW plan on and off for years but although not confirmed yet think I may be dairy intolerant as I keep having bad stomach cramps and running to the loo etc. Is anyone else on here on the SW plan not having dairy and if so how do you manage please?

I'm not dairy free but there are quite a few dairy free milks you can have as HEA including Rice Milk, Soya milk, Arla Lactofree cheese etc. You might end up having to syn things like dairy free yoghurts but I think SW is such a varied and versatile plan that you should be able to follow it dairy free without too much problem.

I'm vegan and find it really easy - as mentioned above, plenty of dairy-free milks are a HEA and you can even have some soya cheeses as a HEB so there's lots of options. Quite a few dairy-free yogurts are only 2 syns etc. so there's lots of ways around it :)

I'm in the same boat, but I really dislike dairy free milk which makes it harder. I discovered babybels don't seem to make me ill so I have just been having those.

Sure, the Alpro ones in the 125g pots are 2 syns each :) They do a lovely vanilla one in a large pot that works out roughly the same syns per gram. Alpro also do some nice creams, the light one is only 1 syn per 30g. For milks, each person is different but I've personally found the Koko coconut milk or Oatly enriched to be about the best but everyone has different tastes so it's a case of try and see. Varying amounts of the milks are a HEA so also depends on how much you will be using :) You can also have 200ml of either the Koko chocolate coconut milk or Oatly chocolate milk and they are amazingly gorgeous!
