I didn't realise this was something I have actually done before... just looked on google to find out what it is and realised that I spent an afternoon doing this with some friends who live in the sticks! we didn't use a GPS though as her 8 year old daughter knew exactly where all the boxes were and the kids swapped little things they found and left some bits in the container.

It's like a hide & seek game for grown ups & children. I find it's a nice way to have a long walk without getting board. You download the co-ordinates for the 'cache' either to a gps or mobile & go hunting, it can be really hard.

Today we went on a lovely walk, just over 8 miles we got 33/36 caches, OH wanted to beat our personal best of 31:D

Wow! I am impressed! Was hoping to sneak one in on our visit to notts today but hubby and kids not as enthusiastic as me!

We were at a geocache meet last night & a guy had been introduced to geocaching by his grandson.
