Swapping between SW and calorie counting

Just looking for some opinions on changing to calorie counting for a few weeks..

The next few weeks I have quite a bit planned and sticking to slimming world 100% is going to be difficult, im thinking about switching to calorie counting for 3 weeks then back to slimming world beginning of September.. Do you think I will be ok to do this?

Well slimming world and calorie counting are both working on the principle that calorie deficit = weight loss. I find on a normal SW day I will be eating well under 2000 calories a day because the foods I love keep me so full that I don't want to snack. In that sense, SW is still limiting calories.
What is it that is going to stop you sticking to SW hun? X
I just have lots of days out planned, my auntie is coming over from Australia so will be taking her on day trips etc.. I will try to plan my meals and take food with me to stick with slimming world but there are going to be days when this is not practical.

My plan is to try and stick to slimming world foods as much of possible but will count calories as well so if I do end up eating something else at least I am within my limit and will still lose weight.. Does that make any sense or is it just in my head lol :) x

I was told when I went for my consultants interview that sw is actually calorifically worked out anyway, but it's done already for us so we don't need to think about it.
