I recently attended a conference to do with my work on colour and image consultancy and heard about 'SWISHING'

Sounds a great idea to exchange clothes/shoes/jewellry you no longer want and to get some new ones for free!!!...consider the recycling aspect..If you have some lovely pieces and too good for charity shops might be an alternative idea

    http://www.swishing.org

The idea is you download the invite on the link shown above and send to friends or gather a few people together. Fix a date and venue to hold it and thats it..you take along at least one item of clothing, but can leave with what ever you want - without a fight hopefully..lol

If you do Avon could include a little sales aswell (or invite the rep)...fun evening get-together at home over a few drinks (for those not on CD!!)

    Let me know your views...

    Gilly ;)
(I have also put this on the CD pink site)

Glad a great idea, will have a look into that...

Also there is a site called Freecyle (i think) which does a similar thing, with any items as well as clothing eg furniture, electrical etc

Yes Freecycle can also deal with bigger items - the Swishing is just clothes and are held in part form in ones house!!!
