    Hi guyz,

I have been thinking about switching from LT to CD this ages as the nearest pharmacy is about 2 hours away and I am also a bit fed up of the same shakes all the time.

I hope yas all dont mind answering a few questions.

    What are the shakes like?
Has anyone swtiched before and found that cd was better for them?
I have noticed that yas work in teams which I think is great way to offer support to each other, how do ya get yourself on one of those teams?
Has anyone gained weight after changing from one diet to the other?

Sorry for all the questions!! Take care

I switched from LT to CD and wish I did it sooner. The choices are so much greater and I loved the shakes, and adored the bars and porridge! They are made by the same people, and as such should have no different result regarding the weight loss x x

Thanks MissU. There are two types of porridge, one is plain and the other is apple and cinnamon, both are lovely (well I think so) and there are so many more choices of soups and shakes as well as bars, water flavourings and mix-a-mousse to make the shakes into....... well......... mousse lol x

Hope your meeting goes well x x

I'm another one who will be converting. Need something easier for when I'm in work and can't stomach the flapjacks anymore!
Do the shakes actually taste nice? Or are they gross like Lipotrim?

    What are the shakes like?
I have heard that they are made by the same company but I have found that they taste so much better than the LT shakes.
The different flavours are fantastic like toffee and walnut, banana, chocolate orange etc. There is also a apple and cinnamon porridge - now that is good!!
Has anyone swtiched before and found that cd was better for them?
Yep, after getting bored with LT i took a break after I came back from holiday and put on a little weight I have now lost 1 stone 4 on CD (although already lost 2lbs this week too) and loving it. There is more choice which keeps you more motivated and excited about the diet and I find having a councellor helps as she has actually done the diet and understands the ups and downs.
I have noticed that yas work in teams which I think is great way to offer support to each other, how do ya get yourself on one of those teams?
I have not joined a team. I like to post when I can - everyone seems to be very supportive and wonderful people!
Has anyone gained weight after changing from one diet to the other?
Nope, your losses should be the same as you are on very low calories still :)

    Hi,

I am researching cambridge diet and hope someone can help me? When you get BMI 25 you have to go off TFR on cambridge? So does this mean you take the same products only introduce food or do you take different products?

If you move to different products are they nice? I did not like the lipotrim maintenance products?

Any information on this would be appreciated.

    Julz

CD is different to Lipotrim as you have a choice of what plan you want to follow. If you decide to do TFR (Sole source) - step 1, once you are at goal you have to move through the steps to the maint plan. You stick with the products you used during SS but have less of them so for example you would gradually increase your calorie intake... from sole source you would move to Sole source + this is having your 3 packs a day but also 200kcal meal (the meal is like refeed on LT). There are 6 steps to follow which increases your calories gradually - see below:
    Step 2 = 810 calories (with 3 CD packs)
    Step 3 = 1000 calories (with 2 CD packs)
    Step 4 = 1200 (2 packs)
    Step 5 = 1500 (1 pack)
    Step 6 = 1500+ (Maint)
Sounds a little complicated but you will get a little booklet that will explain all - hope this helps
