Our SWC brought in a quiche she had made the other day and we were gob smacked it was syn free as it had a pastry base,or at least that is what we thought. In fact it was instant mash. You make up a quantity quite thickly and spead it on the bottom of a shallow tin. bake it blind for about twenty minutes and then let it cool before adding your egg mixture. Sounds revolting but was actually yum. She also said the cheaper instant mash works best. Try it and let me know xx
