2. Each week I will convert the weight loss of each person into a percentage per person and then a percentage per team.
3. Each person can set a percentage loss goal for them to work to - and then the team will also have a target based on those.
4. Don't worry - no-one will be eliminated!!! ;)

* Each week there will be a team that is the "biggest loser" :D - That team will earn themselves 50 points
* Each week the biggest percentage loser (individual) will earn their team 25 points and a personal Gold "Lightening Losers" star (*) :D
* Every person who meets their percentage goal during the 26 weeks will also earn 50 points for their team and a Silver "Tremendous Target" star (*)
* And then the team which loses the highest percentage by the end of the 26 weeks will earn 500 points!!!
* The team that has the most points overall at the end of the challenge will win.... :D And I may just send a little treat to the members of that team :D

0.5 another half for me this week :( gutted too because even tho I've been poorly I've worked harder and exercised more :( I usually have 3 not so good weeks and 1 really good weeks loss wise so hopefully next week will be better sorry blues :( x

Hello All!

I am here to waffle... I have felt quite emotional today... I read through the new WW mag that was delivered yesterday and all I did was cry.... I have felt like this all day

1. I hate my stupid job
2. I hate my stupid life
3. I hate being alone - I want a boyfriend/ a husband/ a house/ some kids... but firstly I want the dates and the fun times
4. I hate being fat

And most ridiculously - I feel like the only good thing is FOOD!!

I am sick of getting up every day to walk to work... then work for 8 - 12 hours ... then home/ eat/ gym in any order.. then sleep and do it all over again...

Then the weekend is spent either on call or just dreading being back at work....

I want to teach... I really do... I am just afraid... afraid it wont be what I expect.... afraid I wont be able to do it... afraid I will spend that money and wont ever get a job.....

I need to at least try!! I am scared too of handing in my notice.. of working two months somewhere I am hated (I have done that once already this year!).... I am scared of how my parents and more importantly my sister will respond as they are all against it...

But really today... I just feel alone... I feel sick of the monotony of my life... I genuinely felt like food was the only good thing.. that is ridiculous!!! I want life to be more than this...

Then just this evening I have been thinking about where I could have been by now if I was as committed to this as others... I have been on a diet since I was 11!! I once got to goal and since then have never stopped putting weight on... I really want this time to be it... I started a year ago and lost about 2 stone 7 by July and then since then I have been losing and gaining the same stone.... I want to break back into the 16s .... I want to keep going.... I want to get there.... what is stopping me?? Only me! That is the scariest thing... only me!

Anyways... back to the same old thing tomorrow... I am going to walk to work... and then do the military boot camp.. then maybe do a class at the gym... then eat and bed... I will do this.... I have until September... I want to start my course slimmer... and maybe there I will meet a nice fella?!

So back to it in the morning :D another good week and another good loss and less feeling sorry for myself.. xxxx

Hi Carly, you poor thing!! Sounds like you have had a really rubbish day...and fair play for venting on here! Sometimes it's the only thing you can do to make sense of it.

It does sound like you are truly fed up....and sometimes it takes getting really fed up to give us inspiration to decide to move forward again. Have you been thinking of teaching for long? Sounds like maybe you have....and that you have probably thought this through...what kind of teaching are you hoping to do? (I'm a teacher too!)

It's hard when you don't have the immediate support of those closest...although, I bet they will row in once you begin.

Sounds like you don't have much to look forward to at the moment...is there anything coming up
On the horizon that you can look forward to like a night out/catching up with a friend/night away? Even little things to look forward to are important, to make the mundane stuff more bearable!!

Also....look at what u have achieved Carly! And try not to beat urself up about the stuff u can't control, you are here today...and you can do this!!!! Look at how you inspired all of us on this thread to focus! We're all spurring each other on because of you!

Carly, you have to do what you want to do....it shouldnt be about what every one thinks about you, put your wellies on and jump in the puddles girl!!
I think it all comes down to how you think.others see you... and what is expected of.you, my god, you've trained as a solicitor....and now you want to change....well good for you, its your life and you have to deal with the consequence, i personally think you would make a.great teacher, as to the weight well.... it will come off, but we both know there is no easy answer, no quick remedy, its pure hard work and commitment, yes we all love food....well i ate like a pig yesterday, but i know i can get back on track, if you want something bad enough...it will work,
As to love...you know my story, single mum at 27, met tone at 31. Married at 32 and two kids extra, it does happen, sometimes when you least expect it.x
 
If you want to teach Carly, go for it! Life's no fun if you don't take risks! I bet you'd make a great teacher!

You've done so well on your weight loss! Just think, you are 37lbs lighter than this time last year! It's taken me since November 2010 to get to where I am now. Sometimes you just need the right things to be going on in life to give you the willpower to keep going. It's tough when you have so much to loose but always remember your loosing weight for the long term...sometimes its best that it comes off slower :) I've put on weight constantly since I was 11/12 and this is the first time I've actually managed to get somewhere with dieting...just stick with it! You have so many people here to support you! :grouphugg:
 
Lost 4lbs this week :) Can't believe it! Got to 10%, 2st off since January and over 50lbs in total! Serious motivation boost from that!
 
Well......peeved, didn't get a part in calendar girls, but hey, there was a lot of
Competition and maybe Bromley isn't ready for my boobs!!
And I'm of the belief that things happen for a reason, and there is something I want much more than that!!
