The Slimming Kitchen

Hi All

I decided to re-join Slimming World this evening after taking some time away from the plan & I gave Weight Watchers a try just to see what it was all about but I knew deep down inside that I was always a Slimming World girl ;)
Especially as it got me to target for my wedding in 2010. I was very nervous tonight when I walked through the doors of the group that I haven't physically been to since 2010 but I was welcomed with open arms by my lovely Consultant Judy.
I am armed with the food optimising book, a couple of boxes of HiFi bars, the latest magazine and also the little book of light bites too. I left the group feeling very motivated & happy to start my journey again.
This year has been a very rocky road for me but now I feel the time is right to do it & I am so ready for it.
Tonight I have been to Asda to stock up on healthy foods and I have planned out my meals for the next few days too.

I currently absolutely love the Hairy Dieters cookbooks too so you'll see a lot of their recipes made from my Slimming Kitchen over the next few weeks. I have decided that tomorrow I am going to cook their stickig chicken from their second book called "Eat For Life" which is my favourite book of theirs so far. I love their books as they are easily adapted to the Slimming World plan so many of them can be made to be syn free or very low in syns.

I am sorry that I have not been around on Minimins for a while and I know I had some lovely Slimming World friends but I am back & I really hope I can make some friends here again.

It feels really good to back on the plan I know so well. I enjoyed WW don't get me wrong but I know SW is what is meant for me.

I've had a lovely first day. Here's my food diary in photos.





But of a fry up for breakfast, tomato red pepper and red lentil soup for lunch, sticky chicken, SW chips and salad for dinner then skated caramel Hifi bar and salted caramel hot chocolate with cream. Finished my day on 11 syns.

Just made this sweet potato and chorizo soup for tomorrow's lunch as well to prepare myself and I have campfire stew planned for tomorrow's dinner.
