Themes and alternatives to tradition

OH and I have discussed what we want from our wedding so i have some idea of how to get started in looking for venues.

What do you think of themed weddings - I have never considered it before (well never considered being married before) and now I am looking at all sorts of ideas.

Basically OH and I are not that keen on dancing so want to avoid the '1st dance' and most of our family are not the disco type. So thinking of alternatives, like a casino, or . . . I dont know.

If we married in a castle, we could have a medieval theme.
I love castles, knights, so its a possibility, we could have a jester, minstrals etc. What do you think? Fun or weird?

Otherwise, what other ideas can you think of - other kind of evening entertainment that is not just a disco?

I know a few people who have attended Casino wedding and they have gone down really well. Im not sure what you could do that is not a disco (im not very inventive lol) ill have a think and let you know x
