Thickening sauces

i was only laughing at the fact that now "where theres a will" doesnt need to thicken the gravy after all

Ah right! It was just out of context cos it just appeared as a post that didnt link to anything in particular-which is why it seemed strange! Lol

I am lazy and just boil it for longer! ;)
 
Pureed onion is also a good thickener.
 
I've never had a problem with it

It just takes loads longer, but it's fine if we're not talking prawns. :)
